The Council of Common Interests (CCI), established under Article 153 of the Constitution, is the constitutional forum for federal-provincial policy coordination and dispute resolution. It formulates and regulates policies for specified matters (railways, federal highways, gas/oil resources) and is chaired by the Prime Minister with all Chief Ministers as members. The NFC deals specifically with revenue distribution.
